Priya Sudeep’s real name is Priya Radhakrishna. She was born on 6 January into a Nair family from Kerala, though she grew up and studied in Bengaluru. Her father is B. Radha Radhakrishnan, and she has a brother named Ranjith Radhakrishnan. The Nair community is a prominent Kerala Hindu community — that is her caste background.
Most people know her as Priya Sudeep, the name she took after marriage. Before that, she had a fairly independent professional life — working at Jet Airways and then Citibank after completing her studies in Bengaluru.
Around 2000, Priya was studying in Bengaluru when she met actor Sudeep, who had joined the same drama theatre classes. Sudeep at that point was trying to get into modeling and acting and thought theatre would help. The two became close during this time. He reportedly used to play guitar to impress her — which either worked or she found it endearing enough not to object.
They got married on 18 October 2001. After marriage, Priya stepped away from her banking career. Their daughter Saanvi Sudeep was born in 2004.
Priya was mostly behind the scenes for the first decade of her married life. In 2013, she made an acting appearance in the Kannada TV serial Ashwini Nakshatra, where she played the wife of a superstar — which was, more or less, her real life reflected on screen.
In 2014, she produced the Kannada film Maanikya, directed by and starring Sudeep. That same year, Sudeep helped her launch an event management company called 360 Stage in Bengaluru. The production and event work gave her a professional identity separate from just being a film star’s wife.
In January 2022, she moved in a different direction and founded Koffee and Bunn Innovations in Dubai, where she became its Chairman. In 2024, she produced the film Jimmy — which further cemented her position as a working producer in the Kannada film industry.
In 2015, news broke that Priya and Sudeep had filed for divorce after 14 years of marriage. The reported reason was personal differences. Reports at the time said Sudeep had agreed to give Priya custody of their daughter Saanvi and pay ₹19 crore as settlement.
However, in 2017, both decided to withdraw the divorce petition and reunite — primarily for Saanvi. The reconciliation was quiet and without drama, which is fairly rare in situations that had gone that public. Since then, the couple has continued their family and professional lives together.
Kichcha Sudeep — born Sudeep Sanjeev on 2 September 1971 in Shimoga, Karnataka — is one of the biggest names in Kannada cinema. He has worked in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam films. His breakthrough was Huchcha (2001), and over two decades he has delivered films like Eega (with SS Rajamouli), Vikrant Rona (2022), and Max (2024). He is also the host of Bigg Boss Kannada, which keeps him highly visible on television.
Priya is active on Instagram under the handle @supriyanvipicstudio, which she uses primarily for her production and business work. She is not the type to post lifestyle content constantly — her social media is more professional than personal. She also has a Twitter/X account (@iampriya06) and a LinkedIn presence.
Priya Sudeep’s estimated net worth is around ₹10 to 15 Crore as of 2025. This comes from her film production work, her event management company 360 Stage, and her Dubai-based venture Koffee and Bunn Innovations. She built this independently, which is worth noting — not just from being married to a high-earning actor.
